"Modern Tartan" Show Lead
The Details:
This hand braided 4 strand Roo Leather show lead is comprised of 4 colours - Black (1 strand), Grey (1 strand), Sky Blue (1 strand), Sunset Shimmer (1 strand). This lead features 1 bead sets with handcrafted artisan glass beads by Nemo Snark (Spacer Beads) which are accompanied by hand tied black leather ring knots and the subtle sparkle of black crystal spacer beads.
The four strands strands of leather are split, beveled, conditioned and tightly braided around a 550 # UHMWPE test core. When finished the lead is rolled for a softer feel and conditioned lightly.
**Please note** This lead contains one small flaw under the bead set where the sky blue dye separated from the leather in a minor area (shown in the last photo). This flaw does not impact the integrity of the lead. This lead is discounted to reflect the flaw.
The Dimensions:
- Lead measures 40" from end to end
- Thumb loop measures 2.5" in length (5" overall circumference)
- Collar Loop end is 1" long (2.5" overall circumference)
- Bead cluster begins 9" from collar loop and is 2" long

Show leads are not intended for day to day use (i.e. walking). Over-conditioning of your lead will result in foils rubbing off quickly. Show leads last best when they are used on fairly well trained dogs.
